Book seven of my favorite series. Two past characters team up with a new one to find the appropriate new candidate for the position of Incarnation of Good.

I think this was the first Piers Anthony I have read. At first I thought it was interesting and rather good. I got to the part where the two women were on a journey and one turned into a man and tried to rape the other. Okay, so I thought that was odd and a little disturbing but kept on reading. Then I get to the part where this middle aged judge who is a supposedly good man confesses his secret fantasy about having sex with a young girl to a young recovering prostitute and she is delighted and professes her undying love for him. I felt like I was reading a middle aged man's disgusting fantasy and it was so cheesy. I stopped reading and see no reason to read anymore of Piers Anthony. I have read many other sci fi and fantasy books and have never been disgusted by them on this level.

And Eternity is book seven of the Incarnations of Immortality series. It was okay but nothing spectacular. With the premise of the book being the take over of the office of god I guess I was expecting something a little more dazzling. Overall the book (and much of the series) was pretty boring. That's not to say that it didn't have some coolness about it though. There were some interesting characters and situations but I have to say I'm looking forward to the end of this series.

I was really afraid to read this book because so many had told me that it wasn't nearly as good as the rest. I was dissapointed and yet relieved to find out that they had mislead me. While it may be slightly more mellow than the rest, it still held my interest and was put together very nicely. I loved it just as much as I had the rest.

The culmination of the family connections of the previous books. I loved the whole concept.

The first Piers Anthony book that I ever read. It was good, though I believe that I need to reread it. On a Pale Horse was definitely the best.

This was a great ending to the series. I waited too long to finaly read it. I WAS annoyed with the relationship between the judge and the girl. Loved getting to see more of the Satan/Gaea relationship.
