Terry Pratchett strikes again, but now he brings us the Night Watch of the City of Ankh-Morpork. The captain, Sam Vimes, has serious drinking issues, his sergeant, Fred Collin, is basically a decent person, but has been on the job too long and has lost enthusiasm. Corporal Nobby Nobbs, the lowest ranking of the bunch, is a petty thief on many levels, and the newest recruit, Lance-Corporal Carrot Ironfoundersson, is a 6'6'' country dwarf with visions of splendor and glory- just what the others...

Didn’t Like It

I don't know if I'm being kinda harsh with my rating but I found it was really hard to get into the book. Admittedly, this is the first discworld / terry pratchett book I've ever picked up and I found it a bit confusing. However, I did enjoy the humour throughout the book and it's opened up a whole new world to me. I supposed that's the whole point of the book. I'm not in any rush to pick up the next discworld book though.
