Ms.Koo, I'm not sure if this is what you wanted but here I go:
I'm going to agree with one of my classmates that it's "very close to home". I felt like I was reading a graphic novel of my life. There's really no exaggeration when saying that the pages fly, because that's exactly what it does! Expecting the book to last the summer, I finished the book the first day of summer. It literally just grabs and pulls you into this familiar perspective. Whether you've been in love, or you've questioned religion-or your a fan of art- I highly recommend this book.

Craig Thompson is my favorite comics Writer/Artist because he is one of the few people who uses the medium to the fullest extent. You cannot have his word with out the images and nor can you have his images without his words.

    Truly an Artistic poet

Love Love this. Especially the part about the static fireflies in the sheets, and everything else. It was really beautiful, drawings come to life.

If you liked Blankets, you might also try Thompson's next book: Carnet de Voyage. It's a graphic journal of his promotion tour for Blankets.
