This book is not only an excellent resource for finding great books to read, it is itself an interesting read. It's also beautifully illustrated with book covers and author photographs. Do purchase a copy for yourself, rather than borrowing it. You'll want to come back to it again and again throughout your life.

Buy this at a discount bookstore, or better yet, look it over. I found it interesting, but somewhat disappointing because it seemed the authors were more intent on hitting the 1001 mark than in listing truly praiseworthy books.
