People seem to either love Tarantino's works or hate them. Those that hate generally cannot handle his leapfrogging intertwining storylines or gratuitous violence. I appreciate his ability to use seemingly unrelated random conversations to advance character and story development, his eye for dark situational comedy, and his ear for expertly chosen and timed music in his films. Pulp Fiction is the one of his best representations of all these elements.
