The first Monk novel by Lee Goldberg. If you're a big fan of Monk TV series, you will laugh the whole time you're reading the book. Obviously, the series writers and directors took some parts of this book and made episodes because I recognized a couple of familiar scenes. But it is still witty and mysterious. I'm definitely reading the other Monk books, for sure!

I enjoyed this book because I love Mr. monk. The only thing I was disapointed with was that quite a bit of it was a reproduction of a television episode. Several of the clues were the same...even though the outcome of the story was a little different.

This book was about a very intelligent Obsessive compulsive detective that works with the police department in San Fransisco to help them solve murders. In this book a many murders all lead to the same person. I really liked this book because there was some suspence and some humor that made it different than regular murder mysteries.

Book #2. I have been a fan of the show for years, so when I saw that there were books based on the series, I jumped at the chance to read it. It was a little different reading 'Monk' than it was watching 'Monk', mainly because it's his assistant Natalie who is the narrator. If I had known that about this particular book, I might have started with a different one from the series. Something that stayed true to the show. It was a decent enough read. Not as good as I would have expected, but maybe I'll give a different one a try.

A fun, light read. Just like watching the tv show, but much more detailed. I really enjoyed reading it, but can't give it more than three stars because it was so light and fluffy.

A very enjoyable read. I loved Monk in the tv series. He is great in the book too. Natalie tells the story and does a great job of describing Monk and his detective work.
