Jayber Crow struck a cord deep inside of me. I loved this book. When I find a book I love I usually rush to finish but I found myself re-reading sections of this book just so it wouldn't end. Berry put into words things I didn't even know I felt about the life.

I just finished this book. I remain stunned and bewildered by the tragedy and beauty of it. Too often my favorite book is the book "I am reading right now." Well, this is that book, and at the moment I am unable to think of anything else.
Baker said, "I wept for like 30 minutes when I finished.... It was a slow burn." I think I am with Baker.
