Liked It“I loved this book so uch that I dragged my heels reading it because I didn't want to let it go. It was actually better than Belgarath the Sorcerer, it filled in so many of the gaps in that book and then some. I think this was a brilliant book to draw such a fantastic series to a close.” see full review » see other reviews » |

If you enjoyed the Belgaraid then you'll like to background this novel presents.”

I do love a well laid description to enhance the reading experience, but this book just didn't hold my interest the way all his other works have. ”

It was not written in the same adventurous vein as Belgarath the Sorcerer or the rest of the series. It had a more juvenile feel to it. I appreciated that it uncovered some mysteries but sounded more like a middle aged woman's account of how to bake cookies than a worldly sorceress who's been around for centuries. I think Leigh Eddings just added a little too much fluff to the tale.”
