Hello, this is not a criticism of this book but to make you aware that the theories propounded here about India and its pre history is all outdated and a colonial idea. Since Nehru was educated by the british his ideas were british. It would be better to keep this book in perspective and read other books which are more researched and have the latest historical data. It should give you a better idea on India and its real history. One that I can recommend is called 'In search of the cradle of Civilisation' by Georg Faurstine and Kak. You can view it on my shelf.

It is a wonderful and elaborate description of India's rich history....and the book also tells us a lot about Nehru's perception and understanding of India.
