“LOVE LOVE LOVE. I read this in my car during a lunch break while working at Abbott's Pharmacy in Oakland - ended up being an hour late so I could finish the whole thing. If you want to laugh read this. He's dirty alright, but my goodness he can write! ”

“This collection[ I recall, is gathered from Open City newspaper. If you are a Bukowski fan you will enjoy this although it isn't required reading by any means. A good place to start, if new to Bukowski, would be one of the novels. Try Factotum.”

“interesting and entertaining collection of articles he wrote for some small newspaper, before he started writing novels. worth reading, if you're a fan, but probably not the best starting point.”
