Wow.......what can I say about this book.......except that it kept me going......made me sad......made me feel cold......made me feel as though I can survive life no matter how hard it gets. This book brought out a lot of emotions in me. I enjoyed reading it very much!

I made it to the end of this book but it was a struggle. It's been a long, long time since I read it but I remember reading it and thinking it was just very strange. I didn't get it at all. It put me off Colleen McCullough all together after enjoying Tim and An Indecent Obsession.

This book was written when the 3rd Millennium was far in the future. It teaches people who have lost hope, how to live again. "Love one another. Do not waste your love on a god who is omnipotent. Pour out your love on humanity."
