“Oh. My. Good. God. I have just found my new favourite book, ever. Srsly. I picked up The Pact expecting to read a half-decent story about two suicidal lovers. But this book was just so much more than that: thrilling, heartbreaking, incredible, clever and thought-provoking. The story was so moving, and I found myself empathysing with every single one of the characters, even Melanie, who made me sooo mad. =P This novel had in it all my favourite things; a mystery, an unexpected climax plus way too many twists to ever keep track of. Buying this book was the best decision of my short book-reading career, and I'm hoping that the next Picoult book I read will be as good - if not better - than this one. Wow.”
