This is Bradley's story of the ancestors of Avalon and the life they lived on Atlantis and how they had to flee for their lives. This is the story of their escape from Atlantis to The British Isles. Paxson does a good job of finishing Bradley's magical story.

Didn’t Like It

I finally gave up. This was torture. I loved Mists of Avalon, so I kept trying to make my way through the vague and sophomoric writing style. This isn't written by Bradley, though, it is based on her notes. OY. With about 60 pages to go, I started looking ahead to see what happened so I could move on to something else. Then I realized that I just didn't care what happened. TORCHAH. Read Mists of Avalon. Don't even consider this book even if you find it on a bargain table for four...
