I liked this book a lot. It talked about Santa's life beginning when he was a little boy. Santa tells this story from the first person's point of view. It has many historical people and events incorporated into the story. I liked that the book gave me a new perspective of history by someone other than a historian. It was no surprise to me that Santa did not like wars and that they altered his magical powers. It was a good upbeat book to read around the Christmas holiday.
