i love the fact that you can put a face to Anita now and its her own face, not one of a familiar face like an actor.

I stopped reading this graphic novel after about 10 pages. It seems to be written for pre-pubescent goth wanna-be girls, all style and flash and very little substance. The story is ridiculous and childish, and the artwork revolves around "sexy" vampires who look like a cross between Fabio and a Chippendales dancer, posing in "sexy" poses, while the lead character pouts her way through the pages.

I know that this type of fiction is wildly popular and can see from the other reviews...

Thoroughly enjoyed this comic since it followed closely to the book. It was a quick easy read that was visually entertaining in a way the book couldn't be. The high gloss pages are a little annoying since they reflect the dimmest of light and they make readers like myself try not to leave smudges on the paper. I'd recommend this to the old LKH fans. The humor of the original beginning is still there.
