Leslie had left New York after a tragic accident that had taken her fiancee's Matt's life. But it also gave her the ability to see ghosts, which is very helpful in her archeological lifestyle. When she is offered a chance for a dig near the Hasting's House, where Matt had died, she readily agreed. And agreed to stay in the house. Matt was the one ghost who she wasn't able to contact, and when his cousin Joe comes around Leslie thinks she's seeing double. But Joe finds out that women are missing, and thinks Matt's death could be tied in on it.

“I really enjoyed this paranormal mystery / suspense, in which archaeologist Leslie MacIntyre is able to see and talk with ghosts after dying for a few minutes in an explosion that killed her fiance. A year after the "accident", it now appears that someone may be after her. Very good book!”

“What a unique twist on what I thought was a basic formula Graham had been using. I did however accidentally spoiler myself. I had my book mark and I looked up to check the TV, the pages flipped and I found out the ending. I was very confused at first and then came the shock! I quickly flipped back to where I had been reading and raced to finish to find out if it was true.

I love that Graham changed things up a bit and I was completely satisfied with the ending, in fact I think I loved this more then some of the previous books from this series!
The whole Harrison series is fantastic, I highly recommend reading this one.”
