What confused me was why Demon liked human blood. I loved this book I never wanted to put it down. I never got bored at all. If I was in the same situation as Elena I would not like it. “ This is a great summer read for people who enjoy supernatural books. I heard alot of people did not like this series because they found it incredibly cheesy so I knew what I was in for. That being said, I did enjoy the writing. It was scarey at times and eloquent at others. Yes, there's tons of romance but you can skim those parts.

Elana, the protagonist, finally becomes a likeable character in this one! By the end I didn't want her to die(which is sort of ironic). I really enjoyed the mixture of facts this book. It was interesting to read about the druids, the origin of all the vampire myths, and the snippets of Civil War history. All in all, a nice book for those who want an entertaining read.”

Definitivamente la serie Vampire Diaries es mucho mejor que el libro!
La historia en si no atrae para nada.No hay nada de accion solamente un poco de "intriga" por llamarlo asi al no saber qiuen es el que mata a la gente:Stefan o Damon?
Que por cierto me quedo con Damon,por lo menos tiene algo de misterio...
