“Cassie and her mother go to live with her grandmother where Cassie meets a group of girls who need 13 to complete their Covern. Cassie has no idea what is going on until one day one of the girls in the Group dies on her birthday and her friends kidnap her to join in their Circle. What I didn't like about the book is that you don't really know what's going on and Cassie never asks any questions. She blindly goes along with joining the circle and only asks what are male witches called. Another fun series by L. J. Smith but not as good as The Forbidden Game or Dark Visions”
