Coin Locker Babies depicts both surreal and realistic stories in image of the main characters Kiku and Hashi accordingly. A great book to start-off on Ryu Murakami obsession.”

It's more Japanese than so many other things I could name or have read--absolutely loved it, and I have been a fan of this author since.”

'The woman pushed on the baby's stomach and sucked its penis into her mouth; it was thinner than the American menthols she smoked and a bit slimy, like raw fish.'
You just know something bad is going to happen when a story starts like that. This book tastes like madness.
