Probably the greatest underrated Stephen King novel. It was published by Hard Case Crime. It's short, which is rare for King, but he delivers his trademark punch just the same. This tale delves into our desire to know the unknowable, and it's haunting in a clever way, lacking the supernatural events and monsters familiar to King readers. Read this to get a look at a little-seen side of King that is just as great as his blood-and-guts image.
