“I really enjoyed reading this novel. The setting is post-apocalyptic, with technology an odd mix of modern with roughly 1800s era horses, guns, & farming. The enemies the protagonist avoids are incredibly dark, horrific creations. A quick, enjoyable read with a likable main character. Overall a blend of dark horror, apocalyptic settings, with a slight historical military slant.”
