“Continues the adventures of David Valentine in this post-apocalyptic setting of a North America reverted back to almost 1800s era technology, living off the wilderness level of development. Valentine is genetically enhanced by the Lifeweavers, the distant cousins of the Kur who have taken over Earth and live off life aura of humans via their vampiric Reapers. A slightly militaristic theme as you follow the well-intentioned, loner character around from one adventure/attack to another. Not anything terribly high brow, but I enjoy the strong sense of dark dystopia the author builds by describing the broken landscape of a future America. ”
