In keeping with the other Narnia novels--I like it, although there are some slow parts. It's hard to read all the novels in a row without a break or two. This one has some SERIOUS religious/Christian connotations at the end.

I remember vaguely reading the Chronicles when I was younger. So I started recently with, 'The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe'. Then to 'Prince Caspian'. Just finished 'The Voyage of the Dawn Treader'.
While I did enjoy the other two more, this was a good read.

It started a little slow; and was a little more 'fantasy' than I like; but in the end it was a great adventure; one that only CS Lewis can paint the picture of. This is what has drawn me to the books, the mental pictures that I get from his writings are unmatched because of the simple level he gives them to us.

This is my second favorite book in this series. I enjoyed the entire book. The beginning was very well thought through. I would recommend this book to anyone with an imagination.

Easily my favorite of The Chronicles of Narnia. The voyage to all the different islands gives the story a greater opportunity for imagination than any of the other books in the series and the addition of Eustace to the story creates tension and gives an arc to the story that the others didn't have any with Edmund being treacherous in the first novel.

I thought this would be my least favorite Narnia book but there are so many cool adventures on all the islands they land on.
