Amazing biting satire, Yet he adds an inspired humanism rarely found in this type of sarcastic obsessiveness.

If you do not like Ellis's writing style (incredible detail of material items), this is not the book that will change your mind on the author. But it's definitely his most involved and well put together novel yet. It ties a story across the ocean, allowing a character to change in a way that you wonder at the end if its the same person, while not being an obtrusive change.
