I've recommended this book to everyone I work with. This book explains why certain communications (ads, urban legends, whatever) stick with us and why others are forgotten 30 seconds after we've heard them. I checked this book out of the library, but I need to go buy a copy. Even my husband read and enjoyed it and he's not in the communications field. He does communicate as part of his job, though, as do most of us, so it was well worth his time, too.

I loved this book. I am intrigued by the sociology connnections to this book. This book definitely has implications for teachers and administrators. They even have a section that is devoted to educators. I think it has information that would be helpful to anyone that would want to become a better presenter

An excellent treatise on why some ideas catch on and some don't. Often, it has less to do with the intrinsic value of the idea and more to do with the way the idea is presented. A must for teachers or anyone who does staff development.

Great read. Lots of great ideas. Reading it again as part of a group book study.
