“This book was about how Lina and Doon, two twelve year old friends who try to find a way to help their fellow citizens of Ember when the electricity threatens to fail and the supplies are running out, solve an old mystery and find a way out of Ember. My favorite character in the book was Doon because he was smart, curious, loyal and never gave up hope. I liked this book because it really made the city of Ember and its citizens come alive. I really wanted Lina and Doon to succeed and to save Ember.”
