Not mentioned in the book blurb are "Mimsy Were the Borogoves," on which the crappy piece of crap "The Last Mimsy" was based; "Arena," which has been adapted for TV some several times; and "Surface Tension," a kitchy yet inriguing look at the fate of man. Best anthology I've tried.

I read this book over 15 years ago, but I still remember the stories in it. Some of my most favorite stories are Surface Tension, Microcosmic God, Flowers for Algernon and Nightfall. I LOVED these stories. They helped shape my ideas about what I believe about the world and decidedly played a part in my questioning EVERYTHING. The fact that I remember them with details still amazes me and is testament to how powerful they were. I know there were other stories in there that I loved when I read them, but these were high impact ones for me. Anyone read or remember any other ones?
