WOW what a life! Would have like more about his childhood but what is in the book helps you see why he is the way he is. Talks about how Red Hot Chili Peppers came together and the ups and downs of being in a band filled with, sometimes out of control, free spirits.
I had a couple of things I had ISSUES with while reading the book. First one was the Fathers roll he had on starting him on drugs and the other the lack of respect with knowingly having sex with underage girls and cheating left and right and saying he was in love over and over with each one, guess that made it ok.
BOTH of these situations made me sad and angry. I am not claiming to be a saint and I have no room to judge, I have done my share of stupid things but you would thing you would see a patten of self destruction and stop and make a change.
I guess that what makes great music and art, you put what you live into it so others might feel you.
