“A body is found on a riverbank;throat cut and body scourged. Three weeks later another body is found in a farmhouse. Nothing to relate the two victims other than being in the same condition. This is a real whodunit with the killer not being revealed until the last few chapters. I certainly got it wrong. What I did find amusing was Davenport's 100 greatest rock tunes that he compiles for his I-pod.”
