The greatest - written with stunning clarity and simplicity. He connects the big and small picture and reveals how to end your suffering ... I love him! Listening to him read it is lovely too (on CDs).

Loved the Power of Now and look forward to reading this new title soon.

BTW, if you had trouble getting into TPOW, go back to it sometime and see if anything has shifted for you. Perhaps there wasn't anything available for you the first time but things do change.

I agree with bellazeal that this book is stronger than The Power of Now. With "Now", my mind kept wandering. I read "A New Earth" as it was a birthday gift. It helped me make remarkable changes in my mood. I bought the CDs and went through it again, still feeling changes taking place in me. Then I tried to read "Now" but still my mind wandered. I thought it might be the reading. Nope. I bought the CDs and still my mind wandered. Maybe that says more about me than about Eckhart Tolle's ideas, but I say it here for what it's worth.

I listened to this on CD first and loved his voice in my head as I was driving. I thought this book hit me more directly than The Power of Now. They are both powerful and inspiring books.

I have read "The Power of Now", now this. There are overlaps between the two, nevertheless both these books progressed me. Ego is nothing, conscience is everything.

I started reading this book and was so impressed by it, I had to go back to Tolle's first book, 'The Power of Now' and read it first!
