“Tolle is one of the most influential proponents of the principle of living in the present moment. In this book, published last year, he guides the reader to the light of awareness, of consciousness, that dwells within and helps one transcend the ego. By his own account, this book is not for everyone. “This book is about you. It will change your state of consciousness or it will be meaningless. It can only awaken those who are ready.”

    “It is a good book; makes you think. However, I connected more with "The Power of Now", his first book. The writing seemed deeper and very genuine. Overall, I found his first book to be a better read. Maybe I didn't like it as much because some of the concepts mentioned were repeated. ”

I agree with some of what is written but some of it I completely disagree with! The chapter on........ "this too shall pass" I read and re-read and came to the conclusion that if I am in my densest form I am going to appreciate the true highs and lows. I don't want to go through my life trying to stay at the center and becoming comfortably numb. You are here to live and experience form through form............ no form will come soon enough!”
