I like how deeply Silva delved into his characters. I like the globe trotting aspect of it too, Allon went vastly different places in this book.”

The reason I would not give it five stars is there were many many charaters to keep track of in the plot. At times with all the globe travelling it became a little confusing. Gabriel Allon is a great character with a very good supporting cast. Looking forward to reading The Defector soon.”

It's a powerful story with haunting flashbacks to the holocaust and a plot that crisscrosses from Israel to Europe to Argentina. ”

Good unfolding of the story, very informative without being pedantic. I think the author has a way of telling the story similar to Dan Brown. This is the third of a trilogy but I have not read the other two. It is not necessary to read the prior books to enjoy this one.”
