I liked this book. It is very quirky and very different from traditional writing style. It is written in poetic form yet it tells the story of undividusls that have passed

Didn’t Like It

I'm probably a bit biased against this book. We did Spoon River Anthology as a play my junior year of high school, and believe me, it makes for a VERY boring play. The stories it tells through epitaphs are really quite interesting and well weaved together, though. In case you're curious, I played Marie Bateson, Ernest(ine) Hyde, Minerva Jones, Henry(etta) Layton, and Rosie Roberts (my personal favorite!).
