“Some very interesting twists and character development in this series, I quite enjoyed all three books and can't wait to start on the next three.”

Rawn allows her focus to broaden to more characters which proves a more interesting novel. The only place her creation lacks is her depiction of Andry's actions and motives which ring hollow. ”

by Melanie Rawn
This outstanding novel is about how Pol(the next High
Prince, prince of Princemarch and soon to be ruler of the Desert),
Rohan(High Prince and ruler of the Desert), Sioned(Rohan's wife), and
their friends fight against the long forgotten magic of sorcery.
In the meantime Pol's cousin Andry, lord of
Goddess keep, home of the Sunrunners' education, is turning the
Sunrunners traditions inside out and backwards. Andry is turning the Sunrunners into warrior sorcerers, but still making them learn the basic Sunrunner magic techniques.
He decides to teach them the sorcery, in an attempt to prepare them to to defend themselves in the future that he has foreseen.
Pol's unknown half-brother, Ruval,a sorcerer, questions
Pol's authority and rebels against him, backed up by Marron(Ruval's
half-brother),Mireva(Ruval's and Marron's sorcery teacher), and Miyon(lord
of Cunaxa). Using Miyon as a diversion, Ruval is able to get close to Pol, by using
politics.
This book is fantastic for readers who love
magic, adventure, and fantasy. Sunrunner's Fire rolls these various genres into a novel that grips the reader from start to finish. The characters are 3 dimensional and make you feel like they were real people. The plot of this book is fast paced, which makes the book hard to put down. This book would be great for anyone who loves to lose themselves in a exciting book. Enjoy!

“These can be a bit longwinded, but very good stories. A little too much of the romance piece at times. Such a unique, new vision of magic presented. The end of the series seems to be a little open ended, like there may be more in the future. Fans can only hope that is true.”

This is my favorite in the series by far. Andry comes into his own. I like that character so much it is my sons middle name.”
