“This is the forth historic fiction I have read about the history of Greenland as it is being settled by Icelanders. I will say two things; of those four, this is the best. However, the settling of Greenland by Icelanders is about as boring as history gets, so I don't want to overrate the story. The author was quite creative as she invented characters depicting the attitudes of that time and place (over 1000 years ago), and for her creativity I give her many kudos. Still, the subject matter is dull. ”
