Of all the Terry Pratchett books I love, this might be my favorite, and that's saying something. It was certainly my first favorite. It is as well-paced as the best action movies while being as profound as any other novel I'd read. The Lancre Coven: the wilting bride-to-be Magrat Garlick, the much-married and even-more-often-inebriated Nanny Ogg, and the tougher than nails Granny Weatherwax are up against an invasion of fairies, evil creatures who get away with murder because they look like...
