An absolutely fascinating book. It really did change America. A mixture of politics, governmental bungling, and a history of the southern US in the '20s — especially in light of Katrina and the recent floods.

    This book has more amazing, interesting American history than you can imagine.
    It reads like a thriller. When you consider that the flood happened only 80 years ago, America is almost unrecognizable from that time. Hope you enjoy it.,
