- Johnny C. (Nny): The protagonist. He is quite insane and murderous, believing everything he does to be a just punishment for the evil in the world.
- Todd (Squee): Nny's young neighbor. He is easily frightened and his nickname, "Squee," comes from the high-pitched noise of terror he makes when scared.
