The capstone of an amazing career and a damn good read to boot. The Hollingdale translation is hands down the best.

I couldn't make it through the first 20 pages, so I abandoned it.

This book has so much symbolism it makes the bible look like a Nancy Drew book.

    I'm re-reading it again. It's a constant companion.

Easy enough on a literal level, but there are some phemonal philosophical ideas here that take some digesting. Would love to take a course on this book, and Nietzsche in general. His Super-man stes the table for the Heidigger's, Beckett's and Sartre's of the 20th Century.

This book is a 'going over' to a new vision. Life is about overcoming.

I considered this heretical, so much so that it was hard to read it. But I then decided to read it as great literature or poetry (which it is) than philosophy. It is definitely complex, but brilliant. It's taken me quite a long time to get through it. Glad I finally did!
