“A great tool! it is packed with information and walks you through the process. I think after reading it I have a better idea of how to implement it, but it is still along process of becoming a teacher who fully utilizes these principles and is an expert in them.”

“This book was recommended by our principal. It can be heavy at times, but I can see the benefits of learning to instruct students through backward design. The chapter regarding the six facets of understanding was quite interesting. M. Bishop”

“I'm reading this for my curriculum class in PLI. We used the first edition in my credential program, so it's familiar to me, but it's good to reread it after having taught for a number of years. Some really good ideas in here.”
