“Nancy is in a movie for the first time. She has lots of lines to say and she cant remember them. Not only but there is a 50 year old mystery that has not been solved. When will Nancy know the truth about the Hanknan brothers and their death. Who was their murderer?”

This was my first Nancy Drew book. The characters and format of this book were predictable and sterile like the ones in romance novels. I can see why girls like to read Nancy Drew. She is perfect and studying her might give someone some insight on how to be perfect and correct too. In this book Nancy has her acting debut thwarted by a fire on the set. She must solve the mystery of who caused the fire and why and she must overcome any fears she has of acting. I would have liked these books when I was thirteen. “In this novel Action! by: Carolyn Keen a girl detective named Nancy Drew is casted in a movie. Nancy Drew plays the role of Esther Rackham. She is very nervous so she tries her best memorize her lines but she just has no luck.While worrying about her lines another mystery is made when a fire is on the set. Nancy Drew then begins to work on the dangerous case. At the end Nancy does a fantastic job and solves another case. ZI think that people who enjoy reading misteries should read this book.
