• This is a story of Matthew Freeman's mission. Matthew Freeman is one of five very special childchildren across the world. These five children each have a special powerpower, which they must use to defeat an evil force called the old ones. Together these five children have the strength to destroy the Old Ones, but first they must control theretheir powers. Matt is the first of the five to realize what his destiny is. Matt had previously kept the Old Ones from entering our world single handedly, at a place called Ravens Gate. Now Matt must find a way to do it again, however this time he's not alone. Fate has carried him to a long lost friend he didn't know he had, another one of the five.five.
  Matt's story begins at an all boys school in england.England. When Matt has a vision that his school will blow up he evacuates everyone moments before it happens. Matt is then removed from the school by an organization called the NexusNexus, which is made up of people devoted to helping Matt defeat the Old Ones. The Nexus has received word of a journalist who has possession of a bookbook, which reveals secrets of the Old Ones. However they are not the only ones who seek to buy the book from the journalist. While Matt is at a secret meeting with the journalist to persuade him to sell them the book, the journalist is killed and the dairy is stolen. The Nexus is able to find who stole the dairy and concludes in sending Matt to Peru to stop the man from releasing the Old Ones into the world. There areis one rather problematic situationssituation with this mission. The First is that the man Matt must stop just happens to be the most powerful man in all of Peru, and Matt is a young foreign boy who knows nothing ofabout the land.land.

Matt arrives in Lima Peru not having a single clue of the diary's where about or how he will find it. On the way to the house of a Nexus member in Peru Matt's car is ambushed and while he escapes his only friend and Guardian Richard Cole is Kidnapped. What Matt does not know is the people who ambushed him are trying to help him. Matt is left out on the street alone in a foreign country with a foreign language. This is where Matt meets Pedro. Pedro is another one of the five who must stop the Old Ones. After escaping the police who work for the evil business man,businessman, (Salamanda) Pedro takes Matt to his house. The Police that they escaped from post a reward for anyone that turns Matt in. So Matt is given a disguise and gets on a bus traveling to Salamanda's house. While sneaking around his house to find the diary Matt and Pedro are found and barely escape in a get away car driven by the same person who ambushed Matt when he first entered the country. Matt and Pedro travel to a city far in thethe distance where the ancient Incas used to live. Matt then contacts a member of the Nexus named Mr. Fabian. Before Mr. Fabian arrives to retrieve Matt the Police arrive and chase them through the town. The Incas hide Matt and Pedro and take them on a long hard journey to theretheir secret citycity, which cannot be found by anyone. ThereThere, Matt reunites with his good friend Richard Cole. Unfortunately they cannot stay long because they realize something terrible will happen in three days. Matt is once again traveling to another part of the country.
  When Matt reaches the Nazca Desert, him and Pedro learn when all of the stars in the sky align with gigantic drawings carved into the sand, in three days, the Old Ones will be free. There is only one way to stop this from happening. One star will not be in place that night and Salamanda plans to replace it with a satellite he launched several weeks ago. The only way Matt and Pedro can stop the Old Ones from rising is to stop the satellite from being moved into place. The Satellite controls are located 100 mile from the gate its self and the compound is heavily guarded. In order to penetrate the compound Atoc,Atoc (an Inca helping Matt) brings together a small army of Incas about 50 strong. After they destroy the radio tower transmitting signals to satellite Matt and Richard find two very surprising things. The first was that Mr. Fabian had been working for Salamanda all along. TheFabian tells the second vital piece of information is toldto them by Fabianright before he dies. The satellite was being controlled at the gate its self in a mobile laboratory. All the casualties from storming the compound had been for nothing Matt travel in a helicopter to this very spot. When they're about to land the helicopter crashes, Pedro's ankle is broken, and Atoc is killed. Alone Matt has to face Salamanda. Matt congers up the power inside to throw the laboratory and kill Salamanda. How he is too late the satellite is in place and the Old Ones are released. With all the power inside him Matt attacked the king, severely injuring him. Although it hurts him itsIt’s not enough. Theenough, the king simply strikes back sending Matt into a coma.coma.

Matt might have died that very night if Pedro hadn't discovered his ability to heal people. With the Old Ones free there is only one hope to defeat them. Matt, Pedro, and the Nexus must locate the last 3 children. The only information they have is that there are 2 boys and one girl left to find, and Matt's dreams of meeting them on a dream island. One thingsthing for sure it won't be easy. Matt's mission continues in The NightMare.Nightmare.
