At the time his mom used to leave him home alone until gerald and his G I joe friend(toy) started to play with a lighter as time pased Gerald had gone to the kitchen where he had bured the window cloth starting a big fire in the apartment and so he hid behind the couch till the firemens came. after that he satyed in the hospitle for a little bit and his aunt took custity of gerald and from there forth his life soon became better he started geting into sports had more time with monique and her scum bag husband jordan who tries to molest angel.

  • Sibling relationship: With many awful adult influences, the two siblings Gerald and Angel must relay on each other to survive both mentally and physically.
  • Abuse: Drug abuse from a mother, emotional neglect from a mother, physical abuse from a step-father, and insinuated sexual abuse of a minor by her father (although the author is very good/tasteful about hiding explicit details of these encounters).
  • Molestation: A very bad encounter where Jordan treats Angel in a sexual way against her own will.
