This book is unique--Heidi, a 12 year old girl, is the daughter of a developmentally disabled mother, being raised by the agoraphobic next door neighbor. OK, so it is an implausible premise. However, I enjoyed reading Heidi's account of her passionate search to find the truth about her birth. ...

Imagine not knowing your history. Not knowing your birth date or who your own father is. If you were stuck in a situation like this what would you do? Most of us would do nothing and just live with it, but not Heidi. “So B. It” is Heidi’s adventure to finding the truth about her past.
Heidi is a twelve-year old girl whose mom is mentally disabled. So her agoraphobic next-door neighbor raises her. “Soof” a strange word in her mother’s vocabulary begins to haunt her. What she doesn’t know at the time is that this word is the key to finding her past. Heidi travels far and wide to find her true history.
This book was a very unique book. I have never read anything like it. I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved how everything came together perfectly. So overall I loved reading this book and I would recommend this heart-warming book to anyone looking for a good adventurous book.

Heidi wants to learn who she is and where she comes from, but with no father and a mentally disabled mother, she has to gain courage and grow up quickly in order to learn the truth.
