I was sad thinking "His Last Bow" was referring to the last set of cases Watson would ever record for Holmes. (WRONG of course. But see the Casebook review for that.) His Last Bow has some of my favorite mysteries from the canon in it...including "The Adventure of the Dying Detective," "The Adventure of the Bruce-Partington Plans," and "His Last Bow." (I did always wonder why the last story didn't have a title...besides the title of the book. Overall it was awesome, as usual. Oh yeah, and how could I forget "The Adventure of the Devil's Foot?" Mmmhmmm...I love it :D

If you're a Sherlock Holmes fan...www.diaryofaholmesian.blogspot.com is my blog all about the canon I share with a friend of mine :D We need more followers. So check it out!

There is nothing more delightful and exciting for a reader than Sherlock Holmes donning his cape and taking up his Magnifying Glass! This is a pure masterstroke of Arthur Conan Doyle's. Never has a fictional detective been created who is as congenial, as convincing and as theatrical terrific!
