“First in the Arcane Society series, which is set in the 19th century and features characters with psychic talents. Enjoyable escapism.”

“I'm not a big fan of the "romance" aspects of this story but the characters and storyline are very intriguing. The story carefully weaved historical England, paranormal abilities, and mystery and it was exciting to read. I'm excited to read the next book in the Arcane Society series.”

“This is my first Amanda Quick book and I am hooked! This book is so well written... I love the paranormal aspect of this book and the romance and secret society. I can't wait to read the rest of this series!”
