Chapter One, for instance, is comprised of a lot of fear tactics and paints the surrounding world as chaotic and dangerous.
Now, I am not going to lie and say we all live in paradise where nothing goes wrong and we all are given the chance to become our full selves. I realize that women in our culture are placed into a vacuum of what femininity is. But, a truly strong father can put all of these things into perspective and teach his child, boy or girl, to realize the importance of his/her body, emotions and mind.
So, I will say I think the message of building a strong relationship for the benefit of the child is great, but I could have done without the scare-tactics of drugs, sex, abortion and crime.”
“This is a must read for fathers with daughters. ”

“I read this to my husband when I was pregnant with our daughter as we made our 45 minute drive to my appointments and our Lamaze classes. We both liked it and highly recommend it. Note: the author has very conservative views.”
