“I really enjoyed the writing of this author- I found her prose lyrical and graceful. She made you care about the heroine of the story, and the love affair was actually realistic. I look forward to more titles from this first-time author.”

“I found the dead husband bashing throughout the book to be a little undeserved. Lucy seems like a strong woman but she didn't think to stand up for herself until her husband passed away. She then blames him for everything that is wrong in her life. Lucy's sister-in-law Gineva and Ash, the handsome womanizer in town, were the best characters in the book, they brought a little fun and sunshine into the 'downer' parts of the book. ”

“Woa the passion! Nice to escape to another world- loved the cowboys and the down home feel. Ending started to drift a little, but deep character overall, for a chick book!”

“I think this is one of those books disguised as something other than a romance novel, but in reality that is what it is. It isn't a bad book, but one of those where girl meets boy, they don't get along, then they fall into bed together, realize it was a mistake, and then fall in love and live happily ever after. oops, I think I just told you the whole book.”
