“I remember when Diane Downes was on the news for having shot her three children, killing one, and maiming another. (she said an attacker stopped her and her children in their car and shot them.) Diane was always smiling when a camera was near. Ann Rule gets into this killer's mind. The book is well written and interesting.”

I just started this book. I was living in Coos Bay Oregon when all this happened and a remember the news vividly. I am looking forward to getting a closer look at the story that captivated the local news for that season.
