Mike K wrote this review 8 days ago. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No“ It is a really good science fiction book if you like to read Arthur C. Clarke. It is about a strange cylinder-shaped spaceship called Rama that enters to our solar system and a group of scientists and eplorers go to that cylinder using a ship called "Endevour" or something. What do you think they found there?
The cylinder gets nearer to the sun every second. What is going to happen? Wllee, read and see!”
“Cylindrical World is a very interesting concept. Not so action-packed but still gives a good sense of adventure.”

“I judged this to be one of the five best books I read in 2008. Rama, a giant alien spaceship, is very mysterious and the reader is compelled to explore along with the characters, who are just as clueless as the reader. Memorable visuals. I realize this book is supposed to have a lot of unanswered questions, but I am still dying to know what it all means. I could read the continuations, but I have this hang-up about reading co-written sequels, which really means it's not A.C. Clarke, himself, that you are reading. Highly recommended.”
